“We need stories of belonging that move us towards each other, not from each other; ways of being human that open up the possibilities of being alive together; ways of navigating that deepen our curiosity, that deepen our friendship, that deepen the argument of being alive” -Padraig O’ Tuama

We help therapists grow their creative, embodied, improvisational wisdom and skills, rooted in embodied creative arts and playfulness, social justice praxis, and generative relational ecology.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a Body Centered approach for working with traumatic and relational injuries, rooted in contemporary neuroscience, somatic psychotherapy lineages, and wise principles from Buddhist, Taoist, and Indigenous lineages.

This level one training will meet in-person in Toronto, ON, Canada. In between our in-person modules, students will have access to asynchonous online learning exploration.

Jacqueline (she/they) and Katrina (she/they) met as assistants in a level one SP training in Toronto, in 2017. Since then they have formed a dynamic relationship of creative kinship.

“In our teaching, we are committed to collaborative, embodied creative processes offering generative support for folks to become more supple and attuned with one another in learning about healing personal and collective harm.

In this training, we will come together to form a vibrant learning community rooted in grounded curiosity and encouraging practices of solidarity. Students, alumni learners, and trainers, co-creating transformative currents of courage and possibility, to tend personal and collective trauma.”
